One Great Lottery: It’s a Manitoba Win-Win!
One Great Lottery is back! From September 10 until October 22, this collaborative initiative will support a record 48 charities across Manitoba including the Children’s Rehabilitation Foundation. Manitobans who play the lottery will have chances to win thousands of dollars, as well as the opportunity to support so many worthy local causes.
Fuel Up for Children’s Rehabilitation Foundation on Fuel Good Day
On Tuesday, September 17, Red River Co-op will donate five-cents of every litre of fuel and one-dollar from every Co-operative Coffee and Big Cool sold at all of its gas bar locations to Children’s Rehabilitation Foundation. The funds will go to the Foundation’s Adaptive Equipment Program, which is dedicated to supporting children and youth living with physical and cognitive disabilities.

Meet the support workers caring for Manitoba youth this summer
The Leisure in Fun Environments (LIFE) Sun & Fun Camp program is in full swing, and youth are enjoying a parent-free week full of their favourite activities. From chef to swim camp, attendees gain new experiences and create lasting memories at one of the few Manitoba day camps dedicated to youths living with a physical, cognitive or developmental disability.

Leisure in Fun Environments (LIFE) Program participants entered a Manitoba Boccia tournament at Sergeant Tommy Prince Community Centre. It was a day of activity, inclusion and fun. This collaborative event, gathered individuals living with disabilities spanning various ages for a friendly boccia tournament.
Creating Community, Connecting and Having Fun at the Family Network Retreat
Rehabilitation Centre for Children (RCC) client families came together for a day of activities, support, and adventure at the RCC/SSCY Family Network Retreat at Camp Manitou. RCC clients, their parents and siblings had the opportunity to meet other families, share lived experiences and have fun. The funding for the event was provided by the Children’s Rehabilitation Foundation.
