Headingley Fire Department’s Run for Wishes

Run for Wishes is celebrating its 21st anniversary, hosting hundreds of runners and walkers from May 1-31.  The virtual event is a sanctioned 5 km run, part of the Manitoba Runners Association run series that uses professional chip timing and a 3 km walk.  The scenic route takes you over and along the Assiniboine River and through residential South Headingley.  It starts and finishes at Headingley Fire Department and the event is followed by an awards ceremony and about 50 draw prizes.  This event is perfect for the elite runner to the casual walker and everyone in-between.
