We’re delighted to introduce you to three-year-old Ava, a cheerful and engaging little girl living with cerebral palsy and epilepsy, conditions which affect her movement, posture, and eyesight. Ava has been receiving exceptional care and support from the incredible team at the Rehabilitation Centre for Children, who play a vital role in her growth and development.
Your generous support of the Foundation has allowed Ava to enjoy meaningful programs alongside her parents, including the LIFE Program’s Music Therapy and family festivals. In her young life, she has received a variety of supportive equipment such as a walker, adapted bike, GoTo Seat and communication aids. Thanks to your generosity, Ava is able to actively participate in her community and daily life.
Ava is a joyful child who has a true love for music. You can find her dancing and humming along to songs she hears. She enjoys kicking a ball with her parents or peers at daycare and shares a special bond with her family dog, Phoenix, whom she loves to give treats.
