Fab 50s Ford Club of Manitoba's Flashback Weekend wraps up on Sunday with their Garden City Car Show. The South parking lot of the Garden City Shopping Centre at McPhillips and Leila Ave. will turn into an absolute Mecca for car enthusiasts.  Drawing over 1,200 classic, antique and special interest vehicles and an estimated crowd of over 30,000 people, it's not just your average parking lot party. Look out for our volunteers selling 50/50 tickets!

Steeltown’s Ride for Scott

January 28 - March 31

The Scott Sargent Memorial Fund was started for the Children’s Rehabilitation Foundation after Scott Sargent’s tragic snowmobile accident in 2004. Since then Jason Sargent has raised more than $200,000 for this fund through Ride for Rehab and now Steeltown’s Ride for Scott. This money has funded specialized equipment, specialized communication devices and programs including a cooking club for children living with disabilities in the Interlake, Selkirk & East St. Paul area. Ride for Children’s Rehabilitation Foundation – Online Auction

This year, funds from the auction will fund the Rehabilitation Centre for Children's Bike Days. Every child deserves to experience the freedom of riding a bike, but for a child with a disability it can be incredibly difficult to buy one off a store shelf.
