Andrew
Andrew was an active 10-year-old when his appendix burst and he fell into a coma. When he awoke, he was completely paralyzed—only able to move his eyes.
Andrew faced his adversity head on and set a personal goal that for his high school graduation, he would walk across the stage to accept his diploma.
Seven years later, with the support of specialized items from the Children’s Rehabilitation Foundation, help from his physiotherapist and by his own strength and perseverance, Andrew reached that goal.
